In this class, we’ll dive into food psychology and see how things like our emotions, family, culture, and even biology affect the way we eat. We’ll talk about how feelings and social pressures can shape how we see food and our bodies, and why it’s important to create a safe and respectful space around those topics. The goal is to build a positive and realistic view of different body types and challenge harmful beauty standards. We’ll also explore tools like Intuitive Eating, Mindful Eating, and the HAES® model to help us eat with more awareness, feel confident, and build healthier habits.
Participants must currently be in grades 7 to 12.
