Impromptu speech is a short, unplanned talk given without prior preparation. Student speaks spontaneously to share a quick message, encourage the group, celebrate a success, or address a situation. These speeches are informal and heartfelt, often helping to build connection and keep communication open and authentic. The objectives of an impromptu speech are to help students and participants develop the ability to think and communicate clearly on the spot. These speeches encourage confidence in public speaking by providing opportunities to express thoughts without prior preparation. They also promote active listening and engagement, as both the speaker and audience must be present and responsive. Impromptu speaking fosters authentic, natural expression, helping participants share genuine ideas and emotions. Additionally, it prepares individuals for real-life situations—like interviews or unexpected discussions—where quick, thoughtful responses are often needed.
